Dear Mahon Family, I am so sorry to hear about Mike! I heard about it the day after the funeral. My thoughts, prayers, and hugs are with you. What an awful experience this must be! I am just so, so sorry. I had met a friend of his at your old house on Scorpio. I guess the guy that bought it. (I was thinking how cool it would be to be able to live in "Jan Mahon"s old house"!) He kind of updated me on all of you. Jan, I lost my address book and could not return your call of months ago! Please call me again and leave your number or e-mail me. Again, I am so saddened by your loss. I have such good memories of Mike as I"m sure you do too. Love you, Lulu

To Mike's family,
I am so sorry to hear the shocking news of Mike's untimely death and for the grief you are experiencing.
The first time I met Mike during a job interview I recognized him to be a good man. He was sensitive, caring and very kind. It was a privilege knowing and working with Mike.
I hope that your good memories - I know there are many because Mike often spoke with much love of his family - will sustain you through this difficult time.

Hi Marianne! Hopefully you have talked with Jan. She has Mike's address book. We are not ignoring you--lots of things happened in a short period of time. We knew we wanted to catch up with you.

Jan:
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Jan, I know how close you two were...He loved you so much!
I was just found out tonight of his death; I'm in shock. I hadn't talked to him since spring and the last email I received from him was during the summer. Mike and I remained friends and kept in touch via email and telephone on a fairly regular basis after I moved to MI. Such a good guy; I'm gonna miss a dear friend. I'm sure he's at peace, enjoying your Mom's company! I hope you and I can talk soon. Blessings, Marianne
