Michael Myrick Obituary

Michael Ray Myrick passed away in Kuwait on July 14, 2010. He was born in Fort Hood, Texas on October 9, 1962 to Judy and Marlon "Tex" Myrick. He is survived by his parents, Judy and Marlon "Tex"; wife, Lana L.; four children, Matt and Stephany Myrick and Brittany and Brandon Zerwick; 3 sisters, Linda Lindsay, Tammy Perkins, and Tina Myrick; 2 grandchildren; many extended family and friends too numerous to mention. Michael loved to spend time with his family and friends; he felt at home in the mountains hunting and fishing and always was there to lend a helping hand to anyone. Michael had a special love for riding his Harley. He had a lust for life that was contagious. He will truly be missed by all! Visitation will be at 3:00 PM with a Funeral Service to follow immediately after at 4:00 PM Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Evergreen Funeral Home Chapel, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd. Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910. Burial is scheduled for 11:15 AM, Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, Colorado.

deepest sympathy to all of family! i'll never forget those early mornings we would push mikes motorcycles out to the shell pits in enid oklahoma and ride all day,couldnt have been more than 11 or 12 years old.i'll never forget trying to get your sister to figure out how to get a formula of how much 2-stroke oil to mix with the gas so we could ride! i've never stopped riding and wished we could have rode together later in life!
