Mike you were a kind boy to have gone to school with. As a fellow veteran and one of my brothers in arms I was so sad, and angry, when I learned that you were sick. I knew even before I saw it said that it was because of the selfless service in the defense of the Constitution of the United States against enemies both foreign and domestic. I and so many of our fellow countrymen made the same promise and many have died. This tribute is overdue but I hope it honors your memory nonetheless.
