Michael C . Sena, 89, entered eternity October 1, 2017. Resident of Colorado Springs since 2007. He was born September 16, 1928 in Syracuse, Kansas to Mitchell and Serefina Sena. Survivors include his beloved wife Fern Beatrice Sena, four step children, several step grandchildren, sister Marceline (Juventino) Villarreal, brother David Sena, many fond nieces and nephews, extended family and friends
After graduating from Centennial High School in Pueblo, Colorado he served in the U.S. Air Force and spent his entire three year enlistment as an assistant gold professional at Lackland Air Force Base Golf Club in San Antonio, Texas. He attended Pueblo Junior College and the University of Alabama then managed an insurance brokerage firm for forty years.
Mike won several gold tournaments in Colorado. He also enjoyed playing the organ especially in nursing homes and other senior venues. He had a great passion for singing in various choirs, traveling with Beatrice and the company of many wonderful pets. He attended Divine Redeemer Catholic Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4699.
The mass of Christian Burial will take place at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church Thursday October 5, 2017 at 11am. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
