I truly miss you beyond measure, love your niece Mel

I am a classmate of Michael. We shared many great times while in High School and College. I have not seen him in many years but I always think of him. He was a distant cousin and friend. My condolences goes out to his family. Just know he was loved and will be remembered. May God provide each of you the strength that you will need during this hour of bereavement.

My condolences to Micheal Shirley's Family. Mike was my high school classmates from Northeast High School in OKC and my Frat Brother (Kappa Alpha Psi) from Central State University, Edmond OK. Hate that it has been a while since we last spoke and I will truely miss you.

My dearest brother, you were taken too soon from me. I feel that a piece of my heart is missing now. I had so much to share… Thank you for buying me that beautiful dress and shoes for my high school graduation. Also, thank you for taking me with you on dates :) during our adolescence. While living, you taught me to love and accept people from all walks of life, because you said, “You never know what that person has gone through or is going through.” Since your passing, you have taught me to continue to make the effort to treat people like I would want to be treated. Mike, I miss you so much, and I will always love you – “Your Little Sis”.

Michael, never would I have known that the last day I would have the chance to talk to you, would be on your birthday. I am so glad I had that opportunity. You and your family have always treated me with great respect and kindness. I learned from you that each person's ministry is importantly based on how they treat others. Yes, we must remember that Jesus ministered to all. Thank you for being an outstanding brother-in-law. See you in heaven man!

I had the pleasure of greeting Mike coming in & out of Mom & Dad's house when we lived across the street from each other in Fountain. Mike always greeted me with a big smile and a wave - followed by how are you doing? He became Uncle Mike to us, because he would often check on Mom & Dad. Mike taught me some things about business, we will honor him in some way once our businesses are up and running. He will be missed, but we know he is in a better place. I am thankful for the time we had with him. God Bless and Rest in peace.

Michael it was a pleasure to know you. You and Bonell is like part of our family. You will be truly missed and I don't believe I have ever seen you without a smile. Keep smiling you are with our father now. My prayers goes out to the family with our deepest sympathy.

Uncle Mike, I was so blessed to have had you in my life. Thank you for always being there and encouraging me to Seek God First and to do the right thing. You were the best uncle and friend that a niece could ever have or wish for. You have touched my life and heart beyond measure and I miss you dearly. Thank you for you love and for blessing me with your life. My little brother (11 years old) told us that he talks to God all of the time and that God told him to tell us that you are in heaven and that you are having fun:) I am at peace to know that you are in a better place. Michael, I remember the day you reached across and extended your hand to introduce yourself, your smile was infectious! Hearing you make your team laugh, making me laugh along with them. I knew you only a short time but so saddened to know we wouldn't hear your laughter again, see your smile and learn from you how to be respectful to others. Thank you for touching my life! God is blessed! My heartfelt prayers to your family.

Words can't express the sadness over the loss of my co-worker Michael. He was such a nice, funny and kind gentleman. Always made you laugh!! I assure you he will be missed here at Everest University. My thoughts and prayers are with all of his family and friends. God Bless!
