I knew Mike from Santa Monica, then Colorado Springs. He was my boss (supervisor) at least twice but I forget where.

I am so saddened to learn that Mike passed away. Mike and I were long-time friends, starting out in the early 70s as work associates at System Development Corp here in Colorado Springs. We shared an affinity for photography, jazz, pizza and bad puns. I loved his sense of humor and admired his insights into things technical, managerial and political. The 2-plus years of COVID isolation kept us from getting together. However, finally at the meeting of the Peak Digital Imaging Society, a local photography group in Oct last year, Mike and I spent some time getting caught up on life and family. Little did I know that that would be the last time I'd see or talk to him. Despite the decades of challenges of MS, he always offered up his smile, his laugh and his positive, happy outlook. He will be missed by all of us who knew him.
Enjoy long walks in gardens filled with birds and photo ops, Mike.

I met Mike in the mid 2000's at a photo club meeting, and over the years we enjoyed many chats about photography! He had a grand sense of humor. It was an honor knowing him, and now that he's living among the stars, I hope he is once again doing all the things he loved!

The first time I met Mike was in 1982 and I told him I just got a divorce, had 7 children and was looking for a husband. Mike said he had 5 children and if we married, we'd have an even dozen, and with a dozen, you get free egg rolls. Mike had a great sense of humor. He loved fly fishing and bird watching, but he was most proud of his five children. He was a wonderful man and will be missed by all who knew him.
