Mary and Family...
I was friends with Mike back in Miesau, W.Germany. We served in the Army together. I was sitting here with my wife and decided to look Mike up after all these years. I'm sorry for your loss. The short time together lasted a life time. Mike was a great person then and from reading the obituary Mike hadn't changed one bit. He loved his music then and glad to see he rocked all these years. His favorite band in 75' was KISS. He would come into our barrack's and insist we play the newest album and he would hand us all brooms and we would play all night long. He was a lot of fun to hang out with. He did have a serious side to him. Even at 19 sitting in Germany he couldn't say enough about his wife Mary. Never met a guy at such a young age who was so in love with his girl. He truely counted the days to be back at home and you both are blessed to have that love for 36 years. I am glad to read he lived a full, rich, life... somehow I knew he would! God Bless

Mary, Joey, and Chris:
Words cannot express the heart felt sadness we feel for you and the loss of Mike!
What a great man, husband and father! The fondest memories I have of him are near and around ice rinks. Mike always made up hysterical, yet fitting nick names for everyone. Mike had an amazing sense of humor and zest for life! He was the man, the one person, everyone was excited to see, greet us on our bus heading out for our horrifically long, back- breaking, hockey trips. He was the one that would smile and have a positive outlook on any game loss or bad call; always supporting his and sons and their team. Mike always spoke so highly of you Mary and of you Joey and Chris. If only I had a crystal ball to play back the conversations.
This temporary earthly world has lost a great warrior, but I have faith, true faith, that he is battling for our souls in heaven right next to St. Michael the Archangel!
We love you, we pray for you. We pray Mother Mary is wrapping her mantel around you and embracing you as your father and husband is joining her Son in heaven.

Dear Mary, Melissa, Joey and Chris,

I am so sorry for your loss. He was a great man and a warrior. I recall the first day I met him in New York when we were both working for Digital. I knew then that I always wanted to work with him again and he would be a friend of mine forever.I will miss him calling out "Meech" whenever I saw him. I will miss him and his welcome smile dearly. I will never forget him.

I am traveling this week and will not be able to attend the services but will be thinking of you all throughout the days.

Dear Mary, Melissa, Joey & Chris,

The last time we saw Mike, we were outside in our yard and he was walking the dogs. We spoke briefly to him and as usual, he was laughing and kidding with us. He had a zest for life and he will be missed. Our prayers and thoughts are with each of you.
