Michele Lethcho Obituary

Michele A. Lethcho (Mickey) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, left her earthly body on May 30th, 2016 after her heroic battle with cancer at age 69.

Mickey was a woman of family and faith, a devoted Catholic and had a strong devotion to Saint Therese, the Little Flower of Jesus Christ, a devotion she shared with Pope Francis.

Born March 7, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan, she was daughter to the late Charles Richard and Rita Jean Urbany. She was a long time resident of Jackson, Michigan, a 1965 graduate of St. John's Catholic High School, retired from the State of Michigan and more recently found joy working with friends at All Things Catholic in Colorado Springs, Colorado.



She is survived by her loving daughters, Traci (Kent) Melville of Jackson, Michigan, Shannon (Randy) Dillow of Colorado Springs, Colorado; grandchildren, Logan Sanchez, Alec Dillow, Courtney, Elisa and Grace Melville. She had the support of dedicated brothers Richard (Sheri) Urbany, Tim (Susan) Urbany, Bernie (Mauve) Urbany, and sisters Mary (Mike) Lipscomb, Pat (Dan) Reardon, and Lori Ford (Tom Ellsworth), along with countless family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sisters Susan Rumler and Elizabeth (Betty Lou) Hord.

A rosary service will take place at her parish, St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church, 8755 Scarborough Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 6:30 p.m.

Memorial Mass on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church.

She will be laid to rest at a private inurnment at St. Mary's Cathedral Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, she has asked donations be made to St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church.
