Michelle McGee Obituary

Michelle Ann McGee died August 7, 2006. She is survived by her two daughters, Nicki and Dani Gigliello. She is also survived by a large loving family including her parents Jim and Anna Lee McGee, her siblings Jim McGee, Mary Forster, Sue Perkins, Lisa Liss and Paula McGee and spouses. Michelle was born November 5, 1957 in Omaha, NE. She had a six year battle with breast cancer that she fought with a courage that was relentless until the very end. She was an incredibly talented artist that could do anything from painting a fall sky to sketching a picture of the people she loved. She was a 4-H leader in Teller County and had a great love for animals. There are no words in the world that could come close to describing who she really was. She had more love than her body could hold. She had a grace and a charm about her that would forever leave a mark in your heart. She put off the kind of courage and bravery that you could only dream of living up to. Her laugh was infectious and her beauty was remarkable. She will be missed dearly, loved forever, and remembered daily. Funeral Service will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 4435 Holiday Tr., Cascade, CO on Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Woodland Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite breast cancer foundation in honor of Michelle.

Girls and McGees, What a wonderful lady was your Michelle. She birghtened the world with her soul. I loved her the first time I met her. She is in a better place now. Be thankful.

REMEMBRANCES, We can't feel saddened over the loss of those we love without first remembering the joy of loving them. The real sadness would have been never having had them in our lives at all.

Remembering in a journey the heart takes, back into a time that was. And our thoughts are the only tickets needed to ride......We, who have truly loved, are blessed.

REMEMBER EVERYTHING

Michelle does. She loved you all!

I can't tell you how much I already miss the sound of "my" Emmy's voice. She was one of the most fun, brave and loyal people that I have ever known.

My heart goes out to her entire family at this difficult time. I know that she deeply loved each one of you and was grateful for all of your support during her illness.

Michelle was sorely missed at our 30 year class reunion this past weekend, but not nearly as much as she will be missed daily by her loved ones. Although we didn't keep in contact I remember Michelle with laughter and love, we had some great times in high school, and she will be missed.

I am sorry Michelle's family and friends loss. I remember the spirit that she had fondly as I grew up in Blair.

As a boy there were many times I wanted the chance to tag along with Michelle and then her sisters in the "meat wagon".

I have an amazing drawing that she did. She was very talented.

I received an e-mail from Patty Ray Flynn from Blair on Michelle's death. I am so sorry that she lost her courageous fight. My memories of Michelle are of some great times in the blue paddywagon in high school.

My heart goes out to the family during these times.

We all love and admire Michelle for her courage and strength. I have never known anyone who could give so much to so many, thinking always of others rather than herself.

We love you.
