Mikaelah was a beautiful and very exciting person to be around. I recall fondly of the times that she, Ryan, Charlie and myself would all go out and have drinks this last winter and spring. My thoughts are with the entire Slusser family. I will always be grateful for having Mikaelah touch my life and so many others.

I am deeply saddened to hear this news. Mikaelah was a significant part of my life while we were growing up. She truly was an amazing person. A person that I am privileged to have known. A person that I will not forget. I will remember her for who she was. Strong. Caring. Compassionate. Intelligent. Supportive. All anyone could ever ask for in a friend. As time passes, people grow. It becomes more and more difficult to stay in touch with everybody that we’d like to, and to be as close to some people as we once were. Several times over the past year or two, I was lucky enough to have reconnected with Mikaelah. She was there to reminisce about much simpler times. Being young and loving it. Working our first jobs at local restaurants. Band practices. Camping and hiking. Going to shows. Multiple New Year’s Eve get-togethers. The list goes on. My heart and thoughts go out to Mikaelah’s mother; I can’t possibly imagine how hard this has been for you Liz; as well as her family and friends. Always remember how truly amazing Mikaelah was and the ability that she had to positively influence so many lives.
