Mildred Watson Obituary

Mildred E. Watson January 2, 1932-April 28, 2006. Millie Watson, age 74 devoted wife and mother died on April 28, 2006. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her. Millie was active in the community volunteering at both the Children's Advocacy Center and Penrose Hospital. Millie's professional career spanned 37 years where she started as a Licensed Practical Nurse and then went on to become a registered Nurse. Millie had a passion for golfing, gardening, quilting and traveling. Millie is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Richard L. Watson; her eight children: Thomas Watson of Los Angeles, CA., Janis Kirkwood of Colorado Springs, CO., David Watson of Sioux Falls, SD., Michael Watson of Seattle, WA., Patrick Watson of Henderson, NV., Mary Boettcher of Loveland, CO., James Watson of Colorado Springs, CO., and Ann Watson of Loveland, CO.; her two sisters: Edie Nelson of Eugene, OR. and Jane Harris of Framingham, MA.; her 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on May 19, 2006 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 6455 Brook Park Dr.

Millie a real blessing in our lives she had a life of faith, a kind spirit, thinking of others,my friend of many years especially when the family lived in the Widefield area. Millie will be missed by all my thoughts and prayers are with you Dick, and the family . Love to all, Joyce

Working with Milly at Surgery Limited was one of my best nursing experiences. I learned so much about ambulatory surgical care from her. She will also be greatly missed as a voluteer at P.C.H. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. Sincerely Katie Conway

I am one of Millie's many friends from the Valley Girls golf league. I know that everyone in the league will miss her very much. It was wonderful to know her and to enjoy all that she contributed to our league.
