Millicent Harrison Obituary

Cecil and Terri, I wished we lived closer so my boys would have gotten to know Millie. I tried to tell everyone just how wonderful she was and all the stories people had of her compassion and spirit. She was truly a blessing and you both raised a beautiful person. We love you!

Millie was a dynamic, kind-hearted, and just all around great person, we are so sorry to have lost her from this community. She meant so much to so many in the community and was one of those people that always had a twinkle in her eye from a bright mind and loving heart. We are so sorry for her family and will honor her memory by hugging our kids tightly.

Cecil and Terri, it goes without saying that Millie was loved by all. That definitely includes Khalid and me. I always appreciated how Millie took Khalid under her wing at Wasson. He was rather a lost kid at times and feeling a connection to Millie definitely brightened up some dark days. You two did a remarkable job raising such a poised and talented woman. There is no limit to what she would have accomplished had she been given more years here on Earth. All my love.

Jonesy and Cecil, Words can never express how sorry I am for your loss. Just reading about Millie, lets me know what a wonderful young woman she was; she sounded alot like the young woman I knew at NSU almost 30 years ago. May God grant you comfort, peace and strength now and in the days ahead. I wish there was something that I could do to take away the pain, but it is something that will begin to heal with time, and the love of family and friends. God will take care of Millie until you meet again. In the mean time, he gives you all of those wonderful memories of your precious daughter. Much Love and Many Prayers!!

Millie was one of our Drama nuts at Wasson. I truely wish that I would have been able to go to the stuff that was at Wasson yesterday. I am sorry for Millie's passing.

Those Birkeland aunties and uncles must be rocking up in Heaven. I'm sure Millie will shake things up!

Teaching Millie was a privilege I will never forget. Her genuine spirit and talented ambition were inspiring. Heaven has gained an angel.

Cecil and Terri- I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Millie's sudden passing. You raised an amazing young woman who spread love wherever she went. I always looked forward to her visits so I could get one of her famous Millie hugs- she gave the BEST hugs! I have tried to console Paige and Olivia by reminding them that with Millie you always knew she loved you and she knew you loved her right back. Millie gave love freely and a character like that is a reflection of the love she felt at home. Millie will be greatly missed.

Millie wassuch a bright, shiny part of Wasson for as long as I'd known her. She will be greatly missed.

We are privileged to have known Millie and watch her grow into a wonderful young woman throughout the years. The neighborhood is so sad and will miss her sparkling smile and infectious spirit.

We were so sad to hear the news. Jamie loved when Millie came into the kindergarten class to read to them, when you were the long term sub. You are in our prayers.

Millie's grandparents (Bill & Connie Jones) have been dear friends of mine for years, and they have always been so proud of Millie's talents, enthusiasm and her love of life. Having four grandchildren of my own, my heart goes out to the whole family. May God bless you all during this difficult time. Millie is still a bright star shining on.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Millie was a good friend to my son Garrett at the tender age of 5 and he has always had fond memories of her.

To Millie's friends and family, I just wish to extend my dearest sympathy. Although I never met her personally (save to see her perform once), my eighteen-year-old sister is active in the same local theater circles, and clearly Millie's warmth and influence was always deeply appreciated, and her loss is keenly felt. May every comfort hold you, get you through...may every memory be dusted in her starlight.

Millie was someone I looked forward to playing golf with every tournament in high school. She was always positive, and that is something that we all could take note of. I'm so lucky to have known her.

I hold dearly my opportunity to act with Millie in Arabian Nights. I had the priviledge of removing a rather large fish bone from her throat in a scene. At 14, she was such a professional and such a joy to have in cast. What a wonderful, kind spirited, and talented young lady. I will miss her dearly. Craig Engle

I will miss being called "Mama Yenne" and her huge hugs. What a bright spot she was during our girls' time at Wasson! I believe that joy followed her wherever she went because it filled her soul. Terri and Cecil, thank you for raising such an amazing young woman.

Mr and Mrs Harrison, I am shocked and saddened to hear of Millie's untimely death. I was her Group Leader for Summer Heat last year, and her enthusiasm and perseverance,despite the Diabetes, will always have a positive impact on me. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Cecil & Terri - I am so sorry to hear about Millie. While I didn't know her personally - just reading her obituary told what an amazing person she was and such a tribute to the daughter you knew and love.

Mr and Mrs Harrison: I am so sorry to read of Millie's death. She was a great kid and I always enjoyed her coming to school events at Doherty. I know she would have made it in NY persuing her love of theater. Please accept my deepest sympathies.
