Minoru Ito Obituary

Minoru Ito, age 86, of Apple Village Assisted Living Facility, Layton, Utah passed away January 7, 2009 at the Hospice Unit at Ogden Regional Hospital in Ogden, Utah. Minoru was born May 26, 1922 in Japan, daughter of the late Tsunejiro and Tsugi Sawada. For most of her life Minoru resided in Security, Colorado from 1956 until 2006. She had many interests including sewing, knitting, croqueting, pottery, and painting. Surviving are her son Michael (Sheralle) Ito of Ogden, Utah; two sisters and a brother. Minoru was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years; Joe Ito, two daughters, Jeannie Ito and Diana Ito-Adkins; an infant son, Daniel Ito; and two sisters. There will be no memorial services at this time, a gravesite service will be held at her Inurnment at Evergreen Cemetery, Colorado Springs, Colorado at a future date.
