Minta Rodd, 83, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026, in Colorado Springs. Minta was born in Charlotte, Michigan on November 8, 1942. She was vibrant and passionate about many things - a woman who recognized the goodness of God and Jesus. She loved her grandchildren, family, and friends with unwavering love. Minta received her bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Northern Iowa and her Masters in Education from UCCS. Her 32 years of teaching included time at Manitou Elementary, Broadmoor Elementary and Skyway Elementary Schools. A worldwide traveler, Minta appreciated different cultures, music, art and good food from around the world. On any Sunday afternoon you might find her reading a good book while listening to her favorite opera, watching her beloved Denver Broncos or doting on her grandchildren. Minta was loved by many people and she will be dearly missed. She is survived by her daughter, Christie Williams (Ross), son-in-law John Williams, grandchildren, Minta Williams and Spencer Williams, brother, Martin Maner, and former husband Lonn Rodd. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Maner Rodd Williams.
