Mom-it´s been 5 years now going on 6. I miss your laughter, your accent, saying something is "to die for" and being right about it, and your fierce love. I miss your sparking blue eyes and your encouragement to just rest. I simply miss you. Love Liz

Dear Mr Payne, my dear friend Liz, and family,
My heart is aches and I deeply sad for the loss of your wife and Mom. Mrs Payne, as I always addressed her, has been such an inspirational person to me. She welcomed me into your family from the first time I met her. I loved the talks, her smile and bubbly laugh and I always thought what a great mother and lady she was. I often wished that she was my mother and considered her to be my mother as well. She will never be forgotten as she will always be in my heart and in memories that will make me smile. I wish you that you find comfort in he love and memories. I can still feel her big bear hugs that she used to give to me-loved those and loved her! I am deeply saddened. Please know that I am praying for her and for you all. Sending big bear hugs to you all.

Miriam, We had just met, but I will cherish the beautiful visit that we had. You told me that "we Aquarians think alike." You will not be forgotten.

Larger than life personality, passionate about politics, food and fashion, deeply and fiercely loving, and a powerful force to be reckoned with. What an enormous, gaping hole in our hearts. Mom - you will, forever, be deeply missed. I love you - always and forever.
