Miriam Marie Schinnerer departed this life on earth into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Dec 2, 2024. She was born and raised in Colorado Springs and preceded in death by her parents, brother Paul, first husband, Art Eberhardt, and second husband, Ralph Schinnerer. She is survived by her two sisters, Ellen and (Dave) Baese, Barbara and (Ron) Miskell, step-children James, John, and Linda (Schinnerer), one cousin, Judy Cherwinka, and numerous nephews and nieces.
Miriam's first career was teaching in various Lutheran schools in the U.S. After marrying her husband, Art, they shared their musical talents by building and tuning pipe organs all over the U.S. Later on she continued to glorify her Savior at Immanuel Lutheran Church by serving as organist, pianist, and choir accompanist. She was also active in many church-related organizations. Miriam also loved traveling with her husband, Ralph, to many destinations in the U.S. and Europe.
A memorial service for Miriam will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 846 E. Pikes Peak Ave., Colorado Springs, on December 12, 2024, at 11 AM, with a complementary luncheon afterwards at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Mercy Meals, and Pikes Peak Academy.
