Mitzi Lundy Obituary

Beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandma, and friend, passed away at St. Francis Medical Center while surrounded by family on 8 October 2010. Mitzi is survived by her dear husband Scott Lundy, her son Brian Brock, his wife Dee and their daughter Lauren, her brother Gerald Hill and his wife Joan, her nephew Jeff Hill, his wife Carrie and their children Caleb, Lindsey and Sydney, her nephew Rick Hill, his wife Shelley, and their children Caroline, Jameson and Braden and her step daughters Shannon and Sarah Lundy. Mitzi was born in Canton, North Carolina to Oliver and Margaret Hill. Mitzi's younger years were spent in Western North Carolina where she flourished in the banking industry and met the love of her life, Scott. They were married on Jan 29, 1994 and moved to Colorado Springs where they called home. Mitzi was loved and adored by all who knew her. Her hobbies included cooking, interior design, and gardening. One of her favorite pastimes was taking long drives into the mountains with Scott to enjoy the majestic Colorado scenery. Mitzi was an amazing cook, wonderful hostess and loved opening her heart and home to family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday October 10 at the Mountain View Mortuary chapel at 10am.
