Mrs. Harris was a very influential kind and caring woman. As kids we lived her stories and her animation was astounding. She will be missed by so many lives that she came in contact with. Entertain the heavens with your stories Mrs. Harris! We will all miss you!

She was a wonderful lady who gave me wonderful memories from childhood. I was just telling my daughters age 5 and 2 a few weeks ago about Mrs. Harris telling stories during library time and how I got to go to a party at her house. Such a legacy!

I'll always remember her stories, and her favorite holiday. Which was Halloween every year she'd dress up as something different. I first met her in 1976 when I started the 3rd grade. She will b dearly missed

I met Mollie in my first year of teaching at Talbott which was Mollie's last. But over the next 24 years that I
I was at Talbott, Mollie was a huge part of what made the school special. Her story telling would always brighten the students' day and her contribution to the 6th grade camps was legendary. To top it all off, even though I had only known Mollie for 1 year before she retired, she never forgot me and I got a huge hug every time she came by. Heaven is a happier place with Mollie as as resident!

I remember Mrs. Harris. I moved from Bangor, Maine to Widefield and attended 6th grade at Talbott Elementary. She went out of her way to make me feel welcome and help integrate me to my new school! She had a positive influence on my life personally. To her close friends and family, my deepest condolences for your loss. I hope it brings a smile to your face, knowing the impact she made in the lives of her students.

Mollie is one of those people that you never forget because she was impactful. When I was a kid I remember her always telling the best stories. Wonderful woman. You will be missed. (Former Talbot elementary student)

My parents dearly loved Mollie. I loved her, too. I had the privilege of listening to her stories at Bear Trap as a teacher. All of us listening were transported to the bunker where she and her classmates endured bombing in London. So powerful and unforgettable. What a treasure she has been to Talbott and our community.

She was one of kind who's always made kids feel loved and could read a book like no one else. One of my fondest memories is being in one of the many melodramas she wrote. She left a legacy of kindness and love and will always in my heart. Kendra (Hoyt) Wermers

We will all remember the stories and laughter. We could be having a down day at the Credit Union and Mollie would come in and light up the place. Harry always just sat down and waited as she told her story. We miss them both.

I'm so sorry I'll be out-of-state on Fri, Oct 10th when Mollie's service is scheduled at East UMC. Mollie was a dear woman who always had a "spark" of fun and eternal life within her which she gladly shared with all, incl. her Emmaus friends. You'll be missed, Mollie. De Colores.
