Molly Jean Wells Miller was born to Mary Davis Keel and John Thomas Wells on January 18, 1957 in Phoenix, Arizona. Loving mother, wife and friend she leaves behind her three children, Grace, Tony and Corrie, husband Greg, siblings John and Susan, and extended family.
Molly was born and raised in Phoenix and then at 19 moved to Tennessee with her mom. She attended Greenville Christian College and received her BS in Youth Ministries. She loved to travel, living in Jamaica, Fort Collins, CO, Westcliffe, CO and Nashville, TN. These experiences influenced her life in more ways than can be counted and she passed her stories and friendships on to her family.
After moving to Denver, she met Gregory Miller in 1987 and they were married at Trinity Evangelical Presbyterian Church in September of 1988. They started their family and eventually moved to Colorado Springs in 1994.
Molly was the most loving, community driven extrovert. Her accomplishments included the following: creating a large chosen family, being co-president for the school PTA and getting a new playground for D3, and working with the Fountain Valley Water Coalition to get clean PFAS free water for our area.
God and her faith were the most important strength for her, from naming her children after leading Christians and God's Grace, to being involved in her church, she carried the true spirit of Christ in her daily life. She fully believed in the love and acceptance of the Gospel. She brought this belief into her everyday life and throughout her various careers, which included LPN, Reading Tutor, Geriatric Psych Nurse, Homemaker, Youth Counselor and more.
Molly leaves behind a legacy of laughter, caring and making new friends in grocery stores. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends alike.
Visitation 5-7PM on Friday, 01/06/22 at Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd. A 2nd visitation will be at 1PM with a funeral at 2PM on Saturday, 01/07/23, also at Shrine of Remembrance.
