Momoko "Peaches" Rarick, 92, of Colorado Springs, CO and Langley, WA passed on the morning of September 6th, 2021. Momoko was born in Shanghai, China to Hidesaburo and Kiku Kohno, and was raised in Osaka, Japan with eleven siblings. She worked as an office secretary at Camp Zama in Japan where she met her late husband, Glenn Rarick. Momoko was a typesetter and graphic designer for Hewlett Packard for 22 years, and then a graphic designer for the International Bible Society for another 20 years before retiring. Momoko is survived by her three children: Yoko McAnally, Naomi DiVincenzo, and Daniel Rarick; Eight grandchildren: Dale Gallagher, James Gallagher, Breanna Sieck, Heath McAnally, Ben McAnally, Justin Rarick, Jared Rarick, and Abi Rarick; Five great-grandchildren: Aria Gallagher, Jeada Gallagher, Michael Gallagher, Emma Rarick, Ella Rarick; and five siblings: Yahei Kohno, Sunao Kohno, Hiroshi Ikenaga, Sayoko Ito, and Isao Gagnon. Momoko never missed an opportunity to show hospitality - her love of the Lord was richly expressed in her words and deeds. She was generous with her time, her word, her cooking, and her love, and she is deeply missed. A celebration of Momoko's life will be held at Northeast Bible Chapel on October 2nd at 10:30 AM. I will always remember Mo as an inspiration in so many ways to everyone at The International Bible Society. She could definitely hold her own with the younger staff. I loved going to her house with friends for a wonderful Japanese meal and games...what fun we had. The times I would visit when taking care of one of her neighbors cat always was full of laughs and sweet conversation. A sweet lady who will never be forgotten.
