Donna 'Monette' Scandaliato, 89, of Lakewood, Colorado passed away on February 16, 2023, after a long and wonderful life.
Monette was born on August 11, 1933, in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Gerald and Mildred Little of Calhan, Colorado. After graduating from high school in Calhan, Colorado, she graduated from business school and worked at Colorado National Bank. She was very active in several civic and church groups including Prison Fellowship and La Sertoma. She met her husband, Nick Scandaliato, and they were married in April 1954. They enjoyed 67 years of marriage together. Monette was the office manager and bookkeeper for the Scandaliato Companies from 1959 until they retired in 2005.
Monette was a woman of faith and strong in her beliefs. Always ready to volunteer whenever needed and ready to help those in need. She is preceded in death by her husband Nick and leaves behind her three children Brenda, Steven and David, and five grandchildren, Marcelino, Sarina, Megan Nicholas and Sabrina.
Services for both Nick and Monette will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 12:00 noon at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Monette and Nick were good friends and were especially supportive when we lost our daughter. Our move to Littleton in 1970 made it hard to keep up but certainly have fond memories of both.

Dearest Mrs. Scandaliato,
I signed your husbands memorial book as he is the one who built my first home in Colorado Springs. It was a place where I found such great peace. I am so ever greatful for you both for that precious sanctuary. It hurt me terribly to leave. Well, dear one, the builder of our forever homes is who you are with now. Precious Jesus! I look forward to meeting you someday. Come to my garden at my mansion for a visit. Until then.... Thank you!

Ray and I have many fond Memories of Nick and Monette. Travelled the entire East coast with them and many other outings. They are truly missed but we are blessed with do many memories.
