Morgan Hutchins Obituary

Morgan was in my head tonight as I looked back at friends lost. I thought I would drop a note here and let you know that his memory is still alive in the minds of those who knew him. A toast to him, his memory, and those he touched. I hope this note finds your family well.

Morgan, I can't imagine you're gone. It'still drives me crazy. I miss when you'd take me to school in the mornings in your massively lifted and sticker'd out car. And when you taught me how to make lanyards and I taught you how to make bead animals. I love you Morgan. And my mother and I miss you so dearly..

Completely shocked to learn of this loss. Morgan was in one word- unforgettable. He had an uncanny ability to make a person smile, take life a little less seriously. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. May you find some light, peace, and resolution as you continue down the path.

My deepest sympathies to the family of Morgan. I knew him only as a customer of his at Sonterra Grill and my many, many visits there during my 3 year stint in Colorado Springs for my job. Morgan always had a smile, hug and cold beer ready for me and my co-workers whenever we showed up. While I did not know him personally outside the confines of the restaurant, I was very saddened to hear of his passing. There are a few people that a person comes across in life that they won't forget. Morgan is one of them.

I'm in shock after hearing the news about Morgan's death. One thing I will never forget about him were his beautiful eyes. i didn't know Morgan well, but the little time that I spent interacting with him in high school has left an everlasting impression on me. He was a wonderful guy. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I am in shock. I didn't know Morgan very well but I did see him often when he worked at Sonterra Grill and then Salsa Brava. He was such an amazing person... The Hutchins family is in my prayers and I am so sorry for your loss of such an incredible soul.

I'm am so sorry to hear about Morgan's passing. I regret having not kept in better touch with him over the years as we grew apart, but will never forget my partner in crime and true friend in Colorado. He will be surely missed and I can only pray that he will continue to be remembered fondly by all.

I wrote already in the guest book on july 19th. I just keep reading the guest book. I guess it is my way of keeping your child in my heart and thinking of him frequently. My girls sarah and laura talk of him too. I just want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Hutch and Kay- we just heard the news about Morgan and our hearts are breaking for you. We remember him fondly as a kind and sensitive young man in troop 366. May our Lord surround you with His love.

Praying for you all. Morgan and I worked together at the Garden Ranch YMCA. He was such an enthusiastic guy and really fun to be around. I remember he took a deposit for the YMCA across the street to the bank for me one day. He came back looking so upset because the wind had blown the cash out of his hands. We ran back over to the bank parking lot together and spent an hour chasing money in the wind. We had a good laugh about it and recovered all the money. Morgan, you will be missed. Your amazing spirit and spark were captivating! God bless you and your family.

Morgan was a great friend of mine during high school. I'll never forget when he gave me a rode home from school in his jeep, and he played for me a song by my favorite band Tool. To this day when I hear that song it reminds me of him, and of our constant laughter during two years of math classes together. So long Morgan, we'll miss you.

Though we had not seen him in person for a long time, we will always remember a wide-eyed toddler who was curious, sweet and bright. This shocking news brings tears. Morgan was truely a bright, magnetic person who left an impact with me. The brief encounters I was privelaged with his prescence etch a picture of a beautiful soul. He will be missed tremendously. My condolences to his family & his love.

I was blessed to have met Morgan when he and my daughter attended high school together at Air Academy. When the kids were 17 my daughter was in a terrible auto accident on her way to met her buddy Morgan for dinner. She never made it to the dinner. Morgan was such a great friend to her and welcomed her as a new student when she transferred to Air Academy her Junior year. My heart goes out to your family. May God's healing hands help you thru this very difficult time. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. Morgan truely was an amazing person. He was bright and funny and will be missed dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and his Linsey.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I got to know morgan thru our working together. Such a great great guy. He had such a kind heart and always looked out for me. He will be missed. You all are in my prayers.

I never really knew Morgan all that much. He would come to the girls swim meets wearing his speedo and body paint. It always made the team pumped to swim.
I saw him about three weeks ago for the first time since i graduated and he seemed so happy. Morgan had an amazing personality and an amazing smile. He will be missed. I pray his soul is at peace now.

My twin daughters Laura and Sarah Campbell went to Air Academy and knew Morgan. One day in June we all were at Salsa Brava and they recognized him and started having a conversation about high school what Morgan was doing and remembering Air Academy Swim Team. After we left I told Laura that he had a great smile.

Someone so special can never be forgotten! Both of our boys worked with Morgan at the restaurant, where we met him only a couple of times. It's amazing how someone whom you barely knew could have such a wonderful and memorable impression on you. That he did! Morgan was an incredibly wonderful person. He will be missed dearly by everyone who was blessed to know him.

Morgan has crossed my mind every single day since 7th grade. His wit, humor, positivity, and of course his eyes and smile will always keep him on my mind and in my heart. With very fond memories will my family remember Morgan. From middle school to highschool dances , the mischief that he, Chal and Tristan would get into and the silly clubs he and Challan would be the only members of. His BIG personality and devotion to his friends were highlighted by his infectious sense of humor. Our family will truly miss him and will always remember how he touched our lives.

We had the privilege of working with Morgan at the YMCA. He was enthusiastic, charismatic and caring. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family...Morgan will be missed.

To Morgan's parents, family, and friends. You do not know me but as I read his obituary tears came to my eyes as I have been in the same place as you. My Christopher died almost three years ago taking his own life and I also noticed Morgan and Chris were born the same year. Morgan seems as much a free spirit as my Chris was and I miss him as much now as the day he died. I wish I had great advice how to live with the tragedy, but some how you go on living and continue to love and remember them and look forward to seeing them again. I am praying for you all.

We saw Morgan recently and he spoke so fondley of you Kay and Hutch and spent a great deal of time telling us about Taylor's travels with the marching band. Morgan was an incredible friend from the moment I met him in high school, he looked after me like he was my older brother and made me laugh like he was my oldest friend. His contagious laugh could carry through a room and light up anyone's day. I wanted to send my condolences to the Hutchins family. I knew morgan only for a short time (in middle school). Even though I was only what most people consider to be an aquaintance, I felt that it was appropriate to honor Morgan's Memory. I send my best wished and prayers to Morgan's family and friends.

American Lit class with Morgan was sheer joy! He truly brought radiance to those around him. I cherished his exuberance, his playfulness, his profound insights, and his concern for others. Morgan was a very high-spirited, humorous, and wonderful person. His loss leaves a void in the heart of anyone who had the privilege of knowing him. I always remember him with a smile on his face, and will never forget the laughs we had in the Trombone Section at AAHS, and our fun times at UNC. He will be missed.

Morgan was one of my favorites at the restaurant. He was always, cheerful, happy, remembered what I usually ordered (which didn't change very much) but he made sure it was right! He frequently asked how my daughter was doing as they had gone to grade/middle/high school together. He seemed happy about his job, and going back to school at UCCS. It's amazing how someone I really didn't know made such a wonderful and memorable impression. My deepest condolences to Linsey and the Hutchins family on this puzzling and tragic loss.
