Myrna will be missed so much by us 'next door'. She was such a charming, loving person who blessed us so much by being in our lives. One of my fondest memories will always be the night we found out that both of us families were adopting a little girl. We both had decided on the name name, Mikayla. Since that moment, Myrna became such an important person in our lives. I learned so much from her as a parent - how to guide these beautiful 'Mikaylas' through life. She will be missed so much. Our lives are so much richer for having her in them. Thank you, Myrna, for being such a special friend.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to the Martin family and to the Gingerich family. God's word gives us hope and peace when we feel utterly alone and hopeless. We can take comfort in knowing that God does not allow a trial in our lives that is too great for us to bear. We can also be assured that death does not conquer those who die in Christ. God is in charge of everything. Our prayers and our love be with you all at this very difficult time.

When I think of Myrna, I remember most of all her great sense of humor, her love for her Lord and her dedication to her family. Being that our children are the same ages as Mike and Jared, we met and our friendship grew through our involvement with church youth group and school activities as well as through mutual friendships at church. I remember how after much prayer and anticipation, Mikayla was welcomed into the family. Myrna's laughter attracted people to her like a magnet and her love for her friends and family was so evident in all she did. Myrna will be greatly missed but we know one day we'll see her again in heaven. Till then, we pray that God will comfort you Fred, Mike and Hannah, Jared, and Mikayla, and all her family, and give you strength during this difficult time. With love, Richard and Linda Philippi

Myrna was a great role model and friend to me as I grew up next to them in Bechtelsville. I can still remember watching Myrna prepare the nursery for Michael and watched her become the most caring and loving mother. I had the great priviledge of helping care for Michael and Jared. My good times and pleasant memories of the Martin Family are just too numerous to list. I also attribute my faith and how I raise my 2 girls to what I learned from Mryna. Fred, may the strong faith that you and Mryna share help you and your family through this difficult time.

Our family will hold dear the memories and great times spent with Myrna. She was encouraging and always wanting to find something to laugh about. We have so enjoyed the boating trips, the dinners together, playing games and sharing our love for family and our Lord. Myrna loved each one of you so much. Our prayers are with all of you as you walk through this journey of grief. We love you,

Myrna always gave of herself and her time to others. She was always willing to have Amy overnight to play with Mikayla, and took them fun places, always doting on them. I will miss our long and heartfelt conversations. I learned a lot about parenting from her-she always had a similar experience as mine to share, along with the wisdom gained from the experience. I will miss her very much, but I know that I will see her again in heaven.

In 2003 Leon and I had the privilege of spending a couple days with Fred and cousin Myrna, and seeing the rest of Ivo and Ada and their children in CO, which we enjoyed tremendously. Fred, our thoughts and prayers are with you so much. We pray you will feel God wrapping you in His arms, speaking words of comfort. We wish it were possible for us to come and just share a little time with all the family. We love you.
