Nadine Roberts, age 85, passed away on August 20th at Morningstar Senior Living in Parker, Colorado. She was born in 1936 at the Morgan Ranch south of Simla, Colorado, to Clyde C. Morgan and Mildred A. Wood Morgan.
Nadine was married in Colorado Springs to Richard Fults, Jr. in 1955. They made their home in Corvallis, Oregon, moving to California in 1969.
She was married to Donald R. Roberts on August 30, 1975. They made their home in Saratoga, California, for more than 22 years before moving, after retirement, to Morgan Hill, California. In 2014, Don and Nadine moved to an over 55 community in Broomfield, Colorado, and ultimately to Parker, Colorado to be near family.
Nadine was a graduate of Alta Vista School (several miles from the Morgan Ranch) and Blair Business College in Colorado Springs; and the Institute of Court Management in Denver. She began her court management career in 1956 at the United States District Bankruptcy Court in Corvallis, Oregon; and transferred to the U. S. Bankruptcy Court in San Jose, California in 1971, where she became the Court's Division Manager. She was a member of and faculty member for the Association of Clerks of the U. S. Bankruptcy Court.
After retiring in 1993, she and her husband, Don, pursued their love of travel, traveling throughout the United States, Canada, Western Europe, Australia, and New Zealand in a motor home. The travel most delightful to her was her annual trips to Colorado to visit her much loved family members.
She is survived by her son, Douglas (Lora) Fults of Durango, CO; daughter Michele Gravel (Martin) of Parker, CO; sister, Gwen Jones (Jerry) of Key Largo, FL; stepson Marvin Roberts (Leah) of Loveland, CO, stepson Gerald Roberts (Laurie) of South Lake Tahoe, CA; four grandchildren, five step grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A private family gathering will be followed by cremation and urn placed in the Shrine of Remembrance, Columbarium of Hope, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
