Dr. Reinitz:
Thank you for your teaching. Your humor, discipline, passion for learning, and inspired questioning still guide me and many, many of your former students. I will miss you and always remember you.

To John and the rest of Neale's family,
I'm sad that he's gone. He was my advisor in the 1960's and was right about pretty much everything. I called when I was back in Colorado Springs 10-15 years later. He not only remembered who I was, he remembered what courses we had argued over. Then he invited me to dinner with your mom, starting with his own potent cocktail "to ward off scurvy." How can you not like this guy?

Neale:
I will never forget our adventures doing the 14ers and backpacks with the CMC. Your humor was the best. You will now meet Groucho in the high peaks of heaven.
