I remember going into aunt Nellie's house in Howe, smelling and eating those wonderful maple bar donuts. They were the best! She was always welcoming and had a big hello and smile for us kids. I know she & uncle Bill touched many young people's lives with music working with them in the Old Time Fiddlers. She was quite a woman, and I can imagine her joining her past friends and family in Heaven, having a joyous reunion there.

It has been a long time since I have had any contact with the Butler family. My mother Sarah (Patten) Golding was a first cousin of the tripp family. My grandmother Patten was a Tripp. Jess's sister. Uncle Jess helped my family find a place to live when we moved from Oklahoma to Colorado in 1938. Fond memories of the Tripp family. Maxine (Golding) West.
