Nettie Mae Morgan was born June 12, 1942 in Mount Holly, Arkansas to the union of Clyde Elliott and Earnest Oguinn. She went on to her heavenly reward on January 21, 2018.
She was a wonderful mother, wife, aunt and cousin. She was very peaceful, and easy to get along with. She shared wonderful stories of her family history tree. Nettie enjoyed cooking, watching her grandkids, doing word search puzzles, baking and talking with her sisters and brothers in Arkansas. She enjoyed listening to Gospel and Blues music.
She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Early Ray Morgan, and Gregory Dell Morgan; two daughters, Gwendolyn Morgan, and Charise Morgan, grandchildren, Alicia Morgan, Whisper Mondragon, and Savannah Morgan, great-grandchildren, Christian Thompson, Cameron Thompson, Rosland Goff, and Catherine Goff, Luician Morgan; one brother, Earnest Jr. Oguinn, and two sisters, Georgia Stewart, Deloris Box, also a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George Ray Morgan, sons Earnest Ray Morgan, Eric Dwayne Morgan, Georgia Lashay Morgan and parents Clyde and Earnest O. Oguinn.
Visitation will be on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Angelus Funeral Chapel located at 1104 S. Circle, Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Angelus Funeral Chapel located at 1104 S. Circle Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
