Nicholas Pleshek Obituary

Dear Kathy, Barry and Nathan. Thinking of you today as always. I am happy to hear that you will be living close to one another when you make your move. Your Colorado friends will miss you, but to be closer to Nathan will be wonderful. Here's to many happy years ahead. Love to you from the Bena Family.

I will always remember the Pkeshek Family. You were there for us when Rose and Chris died in their accident and our hearts were with you when your dear Nick left us. We are bound forever. Love you and Nate.

Dear Kathy and Barry and my dear Nathan. God has given you the strength to carry on while always keeping Nick's memory tucked deep in your hearts, as well as in the hearts of all us who knew him and loved him. He was a chip off your block!! And now I watch with much joy as I see Nate becoming such a handsome and daring young man in his own right, another chip off of the " Ole Pleshek/Jirovsky Block". I love you all so much. Grandma Pat

Dearest Kathy and Barry and Nate, I know that your Faith will carry you through this terrible grief, because that is all that will work. My heart cries for you every day. My fondest memory of your beautiful family is sitting behind those two bouncing little redheads at Sunday masses and then greeting you after the service and "Grandma Pat" getting wonderful hugs from Nick and Nate. I received a sweet email today from Carol Yaklich asking me if I remembered her as I met her the day after Nick's accident I am one of the witnesses that was present. I did not know Nick or any of his family members but I want you to know that he did not die alone I was with him for over 2 1/2 hours. My prayers to those left behind grieving their loss you need to take a day at a time. May God grant you peace you are in my thoughts and prayers.

We just heard the news from Ethan....We are so very sorry for your loss...Nic was such a great fun kid...We always enjoyed seeing him and hearing all about him from Nate...You are in our thoughts and prayers... Ken and Darlene Miller

Its so hard to read this and i was in utter disbelief when nate had said nick had died. Nick will never be forgotten, he was an amazing guy. I wont ever forget the fun we had in San Diego, going to the zoo, having pool parties and bbq's and i will always remember that when you guys came home from that 8 month deployment that your blue truck was the only vehicle that i was responsible for and that you came home and it was running like normal. I loved that truck and i know you did too!
I hope i see you in heaven when my time comes! In the mean time save us a spot!

Nick was a good friend to me in high school. I'll never forget his wit and amiability in pre-calculus. He was a fellow ginger, and had the most unique eyes of anyone I'd ever known. He had a full future of promise and love, but left us far too soon. But he will forever be alive in the people he touched.

I didn't know Nicholas or any of his family members. I am the Mom of a 25 year old son born July 10, 1987. He and Nicholas sound so much alike. As I read about Nicholas in the paper, I cried tears of sadness for this entire family. You are suffering a loss no one should have to endure. I just wanted you to know that even strangers are affected by this tragedy and I will keep you in my thoughts during this difficult time.
