HE APPEARED TO BE TRUELY IN LOVE WITH HIS WIFE, THATS A REAL MAN, NOTHING TO PROVE. HE WILL AND IS MISSED

I'll never forget you and Val performing at my college in Denver, CO. It was amazing. Never thought my only son would grow up to be a singer/singer writer and perform at Sugar Bar. We love you so much.

R.I.P. Nick, you were the greatest and I loved your music. I thought you and your wife were a great team.

I would often see him floating down 57th street with his hair and coat blowing in the wind ,he spoke and would stop and talk I mean real conversation, I saw them many times in concert,he will always be in our hearts Rest peacefully king

Ms. Valerie Simpson truly so sorry to hear about your husband Nick Ashford passing, he Will be truly missed and never be forgotten. I do remember in the 80’s watching MTV I saw the video of you and your husband aka Ashford & Simpson My love, the song Sold As a Rock, you both were great Duel singers, you both had your own style away to sing. I happen to catch the video on MTV Sold As a Rock At midnight. We all know that he is in a good place, looking down at you, and he still singing for the angels. Also, his legacy of his music we still live on the radio especially on MTV classic. My thoughts and prayers are with you..

It been 11 years since you let and a void in the music world can never be filled again. You and your beautiful wife wrote some of the most loveable song found a cruel, solid as a rock, I ever women, Anit no mountain high enough. Ashford and Simpson you had a style all your own which could not ever be duplicated and I believe your style was born of love and respect for each other and your gift of caring. I could just "feel" you!! I watched your videos recently and was blown away!! Nick so tall, just dancing all over the stage with such grace and ease and that million dollar smile, wow!! I don't know what really happens when we leave this earth, but wherever you are Nick, I hope you light it up with the brightness of your smile and those graceful moves!!

Mr. Simpson was truly a legend and one of the great talents of all time. I will always love his music. May he rest in eternal peace. God bless his family.

My husband John along with friends unexpectantly met Nick Ashford in North Carolina and snapped pics and he was kind.

I use to work for Bloomingdale's in NYC I would see him from time to time on Lexington Blvd. He was a handsome man and kept his hair so nice. He will truly be missed actually they both him and Val will be missed.

I drove a yellow cab in NYC back in the 80's ,one beautiful summer day as I was cruising manhattan on 3rd ave on the upper east side, I saw Nick Ashford walking on the side walk , he looked radiant and happy and that's the way I will always remember him. Thank you Nick for all the great music. Blessings

Pianters Mill Theater in Owings Mills, Maryland had a circular shaped theater with a rotating stage. A+S were regulars and I always went to their shows. There wasn't a bad seat in the house and you were always close to the magic that was A+S. I will always be greatful for their love that they shared with the world. What better gift?

I had the privilege to meet you in Charlotte when both of you accompanied Maya Angelou at ovens auditorium. The name of the play was "Tambourines to Glory". I will always remember how you both complimented each. I never thought God would bless me to meet such a loving couple. I know heaven is smiling because another of its angels came home to celebrate his new life outside the body now present with the Lord!

Last NightI happened to stop at the Public Television Channel and saw the Tribute to Nick. I had no idea he had joined the heavenly choir. To Valerie and the girls, what a legacy indeed you have left behind for so many to cherish. My prayer is that the Lord will strengthen you and keep you in the days ahead. Nick you died on my father's 79th birthday. He went to heaven in 1970 barely 38 years old. I'll always remember your gorgeous voice and super sexy body. You and Valerie were a real power couple. She so beautiful and you sexy as all get out "Solid As A Rock." I miss you my brother. Valerie, I hope all is well with you and the girls. Broke my heart when I heard this.
