The Lord gently took Nicole Annette Marie Gasser Hardy home on July 21, 2021 in Queensland, Australia after a valiant battle with cancer. Nicole was born on July 27, 1975, on a gloriously sunny day, in Glenwood, Minnesota. Nicole was a gregarious child with a beautiful singing voice and made friends easily. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Colorado Springs, sang in the church choir, and attended numerous mission trips to Mexico and inner cities in the United States. She graduated from Air Academy High School, attended Colorado State University, and received an Associate of Arts degree in Graphic Design from St. Cloud Business College. Shortly after earning her degree she left for Australia to marry the great love of her life Dane Hardy. Nicole is survived by husband Dane, children Sabin and Josie of Rockhampton Australia; parents Annette and Dale Gasser of Colorado Springs; and brother Thomas Gasser (Chelsea) of Champlin, Minnesota. Funeral services were held in Australia. A memorial service in the United States is planned for a future date. Nicole joins a choir of Angels and may her lovely and compassionate spirit remain in the hearts of the many people who knew and loved her.
