It is with profound sadness that I announce the passing of Norma Lea Rook from this life to the hereafter. On the afternoon of July 2nd 2023, at the age of 86, she slipped away to be with her lord & savior. Norma was a beloved mother, loving wife, kind daughter, thoughtful sister, & caring friend. A retired Registered Nurse of 47 years, Norma was an amazing woman that saw her build a storied career by caring for others.
Norma Lea was born to proud parents Clifton & Rena Plunk, into a loving family in Baker Oklahoma, Dec 28th 1936. She attended Nursing school in the early fifties and met a young USAF airmen in Wichita Kansas, named Earl W. Rook. They fell in love, married on Sept 7th 1957.
Norma is preceded in death by her husband Earl, parents Clifton & Rena, sister Vernetta, and brothers Delmer and Glen. She is survived by her sister Doneva, brothers Rondal & Terry, sons Kenneth and David & his wife Nicole, along with grandchildren Samantha, Tyler, & Alex.

I knew Norma several years ago when she made porcelain dolls at my studio, sweet lady. I have thought of her often recently. My sympathies to all her family and friends. I will not forget her.
