Norma Jean Goodsell Wooley

Norma Wooley Obituary

Our mother, Norma Jean Wooley, lost her long battle with Alzheimer's disease on May 7, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Wooley. She is survived by her children Pete Wooley, Bobbi Taylor and Becky Finnell, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and sister, Carol Zimmerman. She was born in Winner, SD and died in Arizona, but for more than sixty years in between, her beloved Colorado Springs was her home. Rest in peace, mom. You were loved in life, and we love you still.

So sorry to hear of your loss I did not know until I was just searching child hood memories. I remember spending many night with Marshall and Normajean and Max and Jeanette playing cards until well into the morning all are now in heaven probably playing cards and having dessert. I wish you all the best.

Norma, I am thinking about you and Marshall all the time. I always thought of you as my real grandparents, since I loved you like my grandmother. If there is a heaven, I know you two are there. Marshall was strong and kind, you were warm and sweet. All my love. Tom (Tommy) Finnell. P.S. see you partner, leave a domino table open for us and we'll beat them girls one more time.

To My Family~~~Sending loving thoughts and prayers to you all during this difficult time. I know I was not able to be around much, but know that mom always kept me posted on her and how things were. So, Grandma was always in my thoughts, and I'm sorry that I could not be there. She was a very dear lady and will be missed terribly. But, know that she is at peace, and in good hands. PS I will always have sweet thoughts whenever I eat a butterscotch candy, cuz she always had them in a candy dish in the living room!! :)

Dear Norma's family:
You have our condolances and are in our thoughts. We knew your dad and still miss him at the livestock auctions. Didn't see her as much but she was always smiling and had such a warm heart.
