Alvin Wilson Obituary
A native of Rutherford County, he was born on December 24, 1950, a son of the late Byrdette and Hazel Harris Wilson. He was a retired carpenter and musician. He loved music and woodworking. He attended State Line Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Rusty Wilson and Grady Wilson. He is survived by his wife, Tamelia Arrowood Wilson; six sons, Alvin Byrdette Wilson Jr., Jeremiah David Wilson, Joshua Caleb Wilson, James Christian Wilson, Justin Michael Wilson and John David Wilson; one daughter, Katherine Tamelia Wilson of the home; two brothers, Don Wilson of Cliffside and Dusty Wilson of Forest City; thirteen grandchildren.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday at McKinney-Landreth & Carroll Funeral Home
Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Saturday at The A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel at McKinney-Landreth & Carroll Funeral Home
Officiated By: The Revs. Kris Showen and Scott Huffman
Burial: State Line Baptist Church Cemetery
