Rest in Love Grandpa. Your incredible legacy was on full display yesterday in the form of so many loving friends and family. Thank you for working so hard to give your kids the best chance to grow up and be successful adults. That work ethic and your love of God was passed onto my mother Melania Weaver and eventually trickled down to me. I will try hard to pass those same values on to my son. Wore a cool hat in your honor yesterday. Hope you liked it.

Grandpa you are truly missed. All the memories the laughter , the unconditional love , the car rides we would take , parties where you would show off your dance moves , back home in Samoa where you would play your trombone and the list goes on and on. You were great man that set an example of what life is all about thank you for being a blessing in my life and in all the lives you've touched. We love you so much grandpa until we meet again......

I have so many memories of my grandfather. He was a dancing machine, he loved to travel, he enjoyed bowling, he loved his rice, and I'd watch wrestling with him. So many great memories I will never forget. And what a blessing it was for my children to have met him. I'm gonna miss my grandpa very much. God I ask that you please take good care of him. I love and miss you so much grandpa.

Grandpa Opetaia was a good man he never smoked, or drank alcohol, he worked hard for his family, and was true the Catholic Church and its teachings, he loved his wife and children, and provided for them. He was a example of what more fathers should be. A song I once heard said it was not what you take with you that is important - but what you leave behind, and he has left his sons, daughters, grandchildren, and grand grandchildren behind - all a part of him with their own special talents, and dreams for the future. With a frail body, Christ called his fateful servant home to glory. Rest In Peace until you are once again united with your family.
