I could not believe I saw Oscar´s name when I was looking up House of Oscar! My dad Dick Spencer III of Western Horseman and I used Oscar as our horseshoer for years in the 1950s ! Rest in peace! I am almost 80 years old now. See you soon!

To all the friends and family of Oscar Lindholm our deepest sympathy. Our family cherished his unforgetable personality and kindness. We lived in GMF area where my daughter Olivia worked at the liitle store there, oh what great memories she has of him and his kindness to her. Oscar also took care of our horses for us. Many years have passed but not without thinking of what a genuine human being Oscar was to so many.

Oscar was one of a kind! He was a great supporter of Girl Scouts and I loved visiting with him - hearing his stories and checking out all his horseshoe creations. My horseshoe armadillo still sits on my porch here in Beulah.
I treasure the smiles and laughter he brought into my life. A true Swede with a big heart.

Dear Cousins,
I wish we could be there for the funeral of one of the dearest men in the world. I'm not in any shape to go far right now. We have so many stories that we heard over the years about Uncle Oscar and the family. Some are probably better not told to younger impressonable kids, but funny and dear anyway. We will be thinking of you and hope that your memories will help the grief. Will call this weekend . Love you all,

I met Oscar at the Ute Pass Historical Society, where he dropped in for visits. I've had one of his horseshoe doorknockers on my house ever since. I miss seeing you, Oscar. My condolances to his family, friends, and Green Mountain Falls.

Oscar was always the one presence in town you could count on running into on a daily basis whether it was at the Pantry or old Pub for coffee, at the post office and most of all at the lake feeding the ducks. We moved from GMF in 1995 and have always seen Oscar on all our return visits except for this past fall when he had just recently moved "down the Pass". Thank you Oscar for all the great stories and the horseshoe statues. Our family will always remember you as a kind and funny man who would always take the time to say hello! Rest in Peace.

We met Oscar when we moved to Green Mtn Falls in 1995. He always told us stories about the calvary and showed us pictures of himself when he was young in the calvary. He was always walking around the pond and feeding the ducks and loved to hang out at the post office. I always thought of him as a tough old guy. We will miss him!

My thoughts and prayers are with my cousins during this time. Uncle Swede always included a military joke in his Christmas Cards to me that gave me a big laugh. I cherish those memories.
