Dear Ridings family, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Oscar last year. I was a first year teacher at Oscoda High School in 1985. Oscar became a mentor and friend to me. He helped me through my first year of teaching. When Oscar retired, he gave me all of his teaching materials. His warm smile and demeanor always brightened my day. He had a tremendous impact on hundreds of students. I have never forgotten this very kind gentleman. He now rests in the arms of his savior. Thank you Oscar!
