May 30, 1961 - February 27, 2009
Master Sergeant Lee was bom and raised In Peoria. Illinois and graduated from East Peoria High Community SchooL She was assigned to Basic Military Training in Lackland AFB, TX from 1960-1965; assigned to the 182nd Air National Guard In Peoria, IL as an Inventory Management Technician; entered into active duty in 1985; as assigned to Edwards AFB in California from 1965-1966; Scott AFB, IL as a Demand Processing and MICAP Technician from 1986-1990; an Assistant NCOIC of MICAP in Comiso Air Station, Italy from 1990-1991; a NCOIC Base Closure and Re-alignment in Grissom AFB, IN from 1991-1994; a Site Supply Support Assistant Supervisor at Schriever AFB, CO from 1994-2002 and was currently a Superintendent of Supply Operations In Laughlin AFB, TX since 2002. She graduated from Noncommissioned Officers Leadership School. Scott AFB. IL in 1987, Air University Noncommissioned Officer Leadership School at Little Rock AFB. AR in 1990, Quality Assurance Evaluators Course. AETC Maintenance Management School at Randolf AFB< TX in 2002 (Distinguished Graduate), Quality Assurance Personnel Course (AFI 63-124) at Laughlin AFB, TX in 2002 and Air University Noncommissioned Officer Academy at Lackland AFB, TX In 2002. She earned numerous awards Including Air Force Commendation Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters, Outstanding Unit Award with three Oak Leaf Clusters, Good Conduct Medal with one sliver and two bronze, Air Reserves Forces Meritorious Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal with one Oak Leaf, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and a Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal. She and her son moved to Colorado Springs after her retirement in 2007. She was a member of Victory World Outreach Church. She is survived by her son and parents; Edwin Joseph Lee, Nadine & Horace Lee of Peoria, IL, 2 sisters; Debra Goodwin of Colorado Springs, CO, and Gail Lee of California, 5 brothers; Timothy, Carey, Fred, Ronnie & Richard of Peoria, IL., and a host of nieces and nephews. Services will be Wednesday, March 4, 2009, a visitation at 10:30 am and funeral service at 11:30 am, at Victory World Outreach Church, 3150 S. Academy Blvd. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
