Pat England Obituary

Pat England
March 14, 1935
October 26, 2023

Patricia Lee England was born in Colorado Springs on March 14, 1935. She died peacefully on October 26, 2023 at the age of 88. Pat was a life-long resident of Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs.
Pat spent her entire working career at Mountain Bell in nearly every possible capacity, from switchboard operator to supervisor. Upon her retirement, Pat remained active with the Mountain Bell community as a volunteer with the Telephone Pioneers. She was most proud of her involvement with Hug-a-Bears, a Pioneers group who hand-crafted stuffed bears to give comfort to children in need.
Her wry sense of humor and infectious smile will be dearly missed by all she encountered. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ida Hill Wetherald, her father, Earl Emery Wetherald, and her beloved husband, William Eugene England.
Pat will be laid to rest next to Bill at the Shrine of Remembrance. No service is planned. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to an animal rescue service of your choice.
