Pat Richard Obituary

Pat G. Richard, 85 passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones on June 19, 2015. She was born in Karlsbad, Czechoslovakia. In 1955 she married T.C. Richard a US Army soldier. That same year they transferred to Fort Carson Army base in Colorado Springs, CO at which time Colorado became their home.

Pat was a devoted mother of three daughters, dedicated many years as a Red Cross volunteer and worked for 20 years at Ampex Corp. She loved gardening, music and animals. She was a believer in education, hard work and perseverance.

She is survived by three daughters Mary (Fred) Eanes, Rita Richard, Eally (Lee) Smith; Granddaughter Kendra (Derek) Johnson; Grandson Eric Eanes and Great-Granddaughter Mya Johnson.

A Visitation will be held, Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at St. Dominic's Catholic Church, located at 5354 US-85, Colorado Springs, CO 80911 with Funeral Services to follow at 11 a.m. She will be laid to rest at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, after graveside services a reception will follow back at St. Dominic's Catholic Church.

Mary, Rita, Eally and family, please know my sincerest condolences, thoughts and prayers are with you all. I'm so glad I was able to see your mom when I was there in January. She looked so beautiful! Love to you all.
