PATRICIA LEE COX
November 27, 1942 August 14, 2018
Patricia Lee (Ruch) Cox, 75, of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 14th, 2018, surrounded by her loving family at Portland Adventist Hospital in Portland, Oregon.
Pat was born on November 27th, 1942 in Lafayette, Indiana to H. Willis and Alma Ruch. She was a graduate of Montmorenci High School. Pat worked as a budget Analyst for nearly 35 years. Pat truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; spending time with friends and family, travel, and always supporting her grandkids. Pat had an uncanny ability to care for others in a deep and meaningful way. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Pat is survived by her "girls", Dolly and Daisy; son, James (Jim) and daughter-in-law Lisa of Gloucester, VA; daughter Debbie and son-in-law Anthony of Portland, OR; daughter Christine and son-in-law Jon of North Pole, AK; siblings Charlotte, Mary, Joann, Connie, Bill, and Cheryl; grandchildren Krystal, Kara, Brianna, Alexis, Katie, Delanie, Naiya, Anandi, Jesse, Jaci, and Jaylene; and 5 great-grandchildren. Her friends are too numerous to count and the love felt for her too enormous to measure.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Pat touched are invited to attend a" Celebration of Life" on October 10, 2018 at 3pm located at Forever Grace Church, 3731 North 650 West, West Lafayette, IN.
An additional "Celebration of Life" for Pat on October 13, 2018 at 3pm located at Family of Christ Lutheran Church 675 W. Baptist Rd. Colorado Springs, Co.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Patricia's name to American Diabetes Association or to the Family of Christ Lutheran Church.

I send my sincere condolences to the family. So glad I got to visit with Pat in Colorado this spring, It had been so long since I had seen her and we spent the afternoon reminiscing . She was always so kind to us when we visited in Montana and Alaska -and what fun we had double dating in high school. Pat is now with her Lord and her friend - my wife, Carolyn. I sure hope they behave themselves!!!!

We were honored to be good friends with Pat when we lived in Colorado Springs. She was a joyful and loving special person. We had a wonderful time with her when she visited us here in Las Vegas. Each year when Christmas comes we remember her when we get out the Ornaments she shared with us of the White House. Sue had fun times with her when we were knitting and crocheting Baptism Blankets for Family of Christ Lutheran Church. We love her so and miss her, as she will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She will be waiting for us and all her friends in heaven. Lots of Love for her.

We will miss Pat dearly. She loved her family so much and talked of you often. We were blessed by her smiles, her hugs, her laughter, her adventures spirit, and love. I will forever hear her voice saying "hi there kiddo". She always made us feel special. We attended church with Ms Pat in Colorado Springs. My husband and I were blessed to hang her Christmas lights for a few years. She loved lighting up her yard at Christmas time and at times we had to say, no more. We could share so many stories but let's just say Pat and her girls are priceless. We know you will miss her much. Our prayers are with the family. We know she has a little bit of herself in each of you. Jesus has her home now. We look forward to the day we meet again. Much love. Dave and Cindy Geu.
