Patricia "Pat" (Chambers) Likness, age 94, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022, in Colorado Springs with her family by her side. On March 13, 1928, she was born to Rev. Robert and Edith (Bretherton) Chambers in Grand Junction, CO, and was one of seven children.
She attended Colorado Springs High School and CC. She met and then married Lawrence (Larry) Likness on October 14, 1950. Pat and Larry were lifelong residents of Colorado Springs.
Pat worked as an accountant for over 60 years and was a community volunteer with CSSD 11. She enjoyed traveling and sharing hobbies with Larry. Pat was an active member of FUMC and worked with the United Methodist Women. She adored her puzzles and crosswords and always enjoyed a good book.
Pat is survived by her son, Greg (Torre) Likness; daughter, Jan (Frank) Dressel; grandchildren: Brian (Jenn) Dressel, Jeni Dressel, Jill Likness, and Ryan (Rysa) Likness; as well as five great-grandchildren and her sister, Shirley Boucher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Likness, and five siblings.
Memorial Services will be held on Sat., June 18, 2022, at 11 a.m. in the Lehmberg Chapel - First United Methodist Church, 401 N. Nevada Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80903. Private inurnment will follow at First United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First United Methodist Church or HSPPR.
