Patricia Moffitt Obituary

Patricia and Robert Moffitt
September 26, 2024

Patricia Jean Otto Moffitt and Robert Stanley "Stan" Moffitt, Sr. were the loves of each other's lives and near-constant companions. Stan died September 24, 2024, and Pat on September 26. They created a blended family of eight kids, 18 surviving grandchildren and 20 surviving great-grandchildren.
Both previously worked for the railroad. Pat and Stan eventually made Colorado Springs their home. Pat retired from Peak Vista Community Health. Stan's career included agriculture in California and the US Army.
They both bowled in leagues, with family and in tournaments, and enjoyed playing games and doing puzzles. Pat collected butterfly-decorated items and Stan collected rubber ducks.
Stan served in Vietnam as part of the U.S. Army's 147th Assault Support Helicopter Company, 1st Aviation Brigade (147th Hillclimber).
Services for both Pat and Stan will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Pikes Peak National Cemetery in Colorado Springs.

Denise & Robbie, and all your precious kids ~ I don't expect you to remember me but I met your folks in 1983 when we were stationed in Oxnard, California and Pat has been a dear friend all these years. I am so deeply sorry for your family's loss. Several years ago your Mom & Dad came through the Ozarks where my husband & I settled and we met to hug and catch up. I would gift her butterflies + she would gift me frogs. We celebrated each other's birthdays every year without fail. How I will miss them, especially your Mom. May God bless you and His angels keep watch over you always. All my love, Diana Guthrie
