Patricia Sellers Obituary

Patricia Allaire Sellers of Colorado Springs died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011, at Memorial Hospital following surgery and a long illness with cancer. She was 65. She was born Sept. 16, 1946, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, the daughter of retired Lt. Col. Burton H. Olmsted and Barbara DeVoy Allaire, who are deceased. She graduated from Duanesburg Central H.S. in New York and received Associate Degrees in Business and Marketingand Secretarial work. She was also a licensed beautician. She was a veteran, and served in the U.S. Army as a young woman. She was retired from the Current Corp. in Colo. Springs. She married William N. Sellers on March 23, 2005 in Colorado Springs. "Patty" loved fashion, clothes and jewelry. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed dancing, reading, sewing, anddining out with all her friends. She dearly loved her dogs! Survivors include her husband, her sister, Dr. Suzanne Allaire Olmsted of Boulder, her brother, Peter Charles Olmsted of Colo. Springs, her nephews Jason Todd Olmsted and Jeremy N. Ransburg, and a grand-nephew, Isaac Michael Olmsted. A service will be held at St. Dominic's Catholic Church in Security, CO at 11am on Wed. Dec. 7th. Burial will be at Ft. Logan Military Cemetery at 2:30pm on Dec. 16th. Contributions in memory of Patty can be made to the local Humane Society.

A bright candle shines for you my friend, "sis-ter", and movie buddy. I am sure you are viewing all the past, current and future films in Heaven with Mother Mary and Jesus. You have strengthen my heart & spirt and left me great memories. I will miss you my friend. Rest in Peace and enjoy Heaven's Delight!
