I met Pat when she was my admin asst. in education in public schools. She was the BEST! And so perfect for greeting parents, visitors and tending to our students. Over the years, we became close friends and had lunches, shopped, talked about everything under the sun. I know her love for New Mexico and the arts and would bring me a gift now and then from her visit.
I´m shocked to hear of her passing and sad. She was the kindest and sweetest person to be around. Her candor was refreshing. Now she is with Rick again and they are visiting new places and with her furbabies.
Miss you Pat!

I had the pleasure of meeting Pat
last year while I was visiting my Aunt who was Pat´s neighbor and good friend for many years. I enjoyed our time talking in her very lovely home. I had heard many things about Pat from my Aunt over the years, times and places they spent together, and what a very good friend she felt fortunate to have. She was interesting and seemed so kind hearted. When I read Pats obituary, I learned alot about her and all of her accomplishments and joys of her life. Of course she was a volunteer, her spirit alone shone with the bright light of a caring and especially kind woman immediately, the kind of person others are naturally drawn to, and I´m sure she had many long term friends.
I was so sad to hear of her passing , and offer my condolences to her family, friends , and all the people in her life who loved her , especially her children.

I am so sorry to see Pat's passing. Our husbands were great friends from the Broadmoor Golf course Starter/Marshall program. Many an afternoon was spent with the boys playing poker at our house. Pat was so sweet and I am sorry to see her passing. Linda Shields
