Patricia Webb Obituary

Webb
Patricia Ellen
(Burgess) Webb
January 2, 1942
March 14, 2026

Patricia Ellen Burgess Webb, 84, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on March 14, 2026. A woman of profound kindness, frankness, and tireless curiosity, Pat's legacy is one of dedicated service and an unwavering commitment to her community.
Born in Warren, Ohio, Pat was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School (Warren, OH) before pursuing her passion for teaching at Kent State University (Kent, OH). There, she earned both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Education, laying the foundation for a career spent empowering others. As an educator, she specialized in teaching hearing-impaired and special education students, as well as elementary education, across Colorado, Maryland, and Germany.
During her 25 years as a devoted Air Force officer's spouse, Pat embraced the adventure of military life. Her time living in Germany stood out as some of the happiest years of her life. Upon returning to the United States, she transitioned her skills into office administration, which she thoroughly enjoyed supporting the Comstock Village Homeowner's Association, Denis Meiers Tax Services, among others.
Pat was a natural leader who never shied away from a microphone or a chance to advocate for a cause she believed in. Her 65-year membership in the Delta Zeta Sorority was a cornerstone of her life; she served with distinction as President of both the Kent State University chapter and the Colorado Springs alumnae chapter.
An avid supporter of public literacy, Pat was a constant presence at the Rockrimmon Library, serving as an active volunteer for the Friends of the Rockrimmon Library organization. Her creative spirit shone through her skilled quilting; as a member of the Piecing Partners Quilt Guild, Colorado Springs Quilting Guild, and a dear friend to Ruth's Stitchery, she gifted many of her intricate creations. Her civic mindedness further extended to the Colorado Springs Panhellenic Association, the Pioneers Museum, and numerous others.
Pat's memory will be cherished by her husband of 60 years, Thomas (Tom) George Webb; her daughters, Heather Burgess Webb of Boulder and Hope Burgess Webb of Commerce City; and her faithful canine companion, Macy. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Margaret Lawrence (William) of Cleveland, Ohio; her brother, David Burgess (Margaret) of Barnegat, New Jersey; and a community of friends who were touched by her generous spirit.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Pikes Peak Hospice and Jackson Creek Senior Living for the exceptional and compassionate care provided in her final days.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Delta Zeta Sorority, the Pioneers Museum of Colorado Springs, or a charity of your choosing that reflects Pat's spirit of giving.
