Patrick Thompson Obituary

I knew Pat in middle school and high school. He was an amazing person and I am so blessed to have known him. He will be missed very much. His family is in my prayers. Bless you all.

To the family of Patrick~ I went to H.S with Patrick, and even though we were not the closest of friends he did leave a mark on my life, he is someone that no one could ever forget even if you only knew his face & name; you should know that he was a gentleman & always held the door for ladies and could always make someone smile even when it was not their best day. Patrick had a wonderful light about him, he had the most beautiful smile and kindest eyes and he could brighten any room with his laughter. Although we did not keep contact after I graduated I will never forget him, he left his mark in everyone who knew him or knew of him. Patrick is in a better place smiling down on everyone and keeping a watchful, protective eye on all of you. Bless you all.

I'm very much at a loss for words to say to bring comfort in this time of sorrow. As a parent, the expectation is to out live your children, so when the hand life deals you is not as you expect, it creates chaos. Please know that you have my deepest sympathy for the loss of your oldest son. Only God can reveal answers to the mysteries life sometimes presents. I will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

We may never understand why the ones we love are taken away from us; but I do hope you can find peace and acceptance. Please accept my sincerest condolences. Patrick was a wonderful, loving, and caring person. I can scarcely beleive he is gone. Patrick was the type of person who was always there for someone who needed someone to listen. He was one of the most humble and caring people I have ever known. He had the best sense of humor and was always willing to make me laugh. I will miss him greatly, I know everyone who knew him will. I can only hope all of our questions about this tragedy will be answered in the next life. Please do not hesitate to contact me if there is anything at all that I can do. I know you will have ups and downs, missing him and wanting him, just hang on, sweetie.
