Patrick Warhoe Obituary

Patrick Warhoe, longtime resident of Colorado Springs and Cedaredge, CO, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2012 after a battle with cancer. He was born on October 15, 1934 in San Francisco, CA to Sarah Eckles-Sullivan and Timothy Sullivan. He was legally adopted by his step father Felix Warhoe. He and his family came to Colorado Springs in 1968 from Edwards AFB, CA. He finished his military career in 1973 and went to work as a civilian at NORAD where he retired in 1993. Beloved husband of 51 years, Patrick married Virginia L. Chapla on July 22, 1960. He is survived by his wife, Virginia, his three sons; Stephen (Kimberly) of Bainbridge Island, WA, Brian (Kirsten) of Austin, TX, and David (Linda) of Colorado Springs, CO and 7 grandchildren; Jennifer (Brian) Hannon of Seattle, WA, Amy and Kara Warhoe of Bainbridge Island, WA, Jessica and Ted Warhoe of Austin, TX, Stephanie and Samantha Warhoe of Colorado Springs, CO. Patrick and Virginia retired to Cedaredge, CO in 1993 and enjoyed the great outdoors while fishing, four-wheeling, riding snow mobiles and even raising some cattle. A memorial service will be held at Taylor Funeral service in Delta, CO at 2:00pm on Thursday, February 9th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Patrick's name to the American Cancer Society, 2754 Compass Dr., Ste 101, Grand Junction, Colorado 81506.
