Pattey Mahaffey-Pyle Obituary

1953 - 2008
Pattey Mahaffey-Pyle, left us un-expectedly Friday, November 6, 2008 peacefully in her sleep. Our dearest mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, was a very special, kind and generous person, who we all love to the depths of our soul. Pattey was born May 6, 1953 to Bill and Wanda Mahaffey, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is survived and deeply missed by her mother, Wanda, children, Kara and Adam, brothers, Bill and Brent, niece, Erica, nephews, Bill, Lee and Brad, husbands, Barry and Scott, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Pattey was the type of person that made everyone feel special and when she became your friend she was your friend for life. She asked for little, and provided much, a gentle flower, beautiful but strong. Every one of our lives were richer because of her, while the pain is great, her memory is comforting, she is alive and well in all of our hearts. Memorial services will be held, 2:00 pm, Friday, November 14, at the; FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 3500 South Logan Street, Englewood, Colorado.

Dear Mahaffey "Family",
We are sorry to hear about Patty's passing. Some in our family knew her from school,and some of our family remember her when we ate at the lamplight Inn on Sundays. We remember Patty's Mom Wanda and her sister Cleo from the dry cleaners. She was a good friend to our sister Margie. Those fond memories we will treasure always. Our prayers are with you at this time.

I would like to express my deepest sympathies to you. Patty and I were classmates at Lewis Pamer and I saw her several years ago at a resturant in Colorado Springs. We shared old stories and caught up. I am so glad that I had that opportunity.
