When we used to visit the Springs from Fort Collins, my fondest memories are how fondly Patti looked at her kids, and how lovingly the good Colonel kept his eyes on Patti. Love was all around.

Simple things are my best memories. Sitting on the patio having cocktails and appetizers. Coffee and conversation at the kitchen table. Lunch for my birthday at Roxsand in Scottsdale. And cooking Thanksgiving dinner with her, my favorite day of the year in large part because of her presence. She will be in my heart always.
