To the Sertich Family, I think of you often after Patty's passing, and I send good thoughts that you're doing ok. Patty undoubtedly left a hole and big shoes that could never be filled. Those at JWRC who were lucky enough to meet her, will never forget her and the courage she showed in showing up! Bless you all, Nancy Sabin (612) 250-9510 or [email protected].

My deepest sorrow for your family, I never met Patty, but being a hockey mom/family who didn't know the Sertich name. I probably had passed her a million times in the hockey arenas, I wish I would have gotten to know her, she sounds like she was a great person. My husband coached Marty in one of the Elite Spring league hockey teams, he played with our son, Nick Balsimo, my husband said Marty was a great kid and hockey player of course. When I read the paper of Patty's passing, it was so sad, yet so beautiful the words Steve used to describe his wife, I have a tear in my ear right now. What a beautiful, loving family. How hard this must be for all of you, I can't imagine it. Take Care, stay stronge and God Bless you.

Nothing that is loved is ever lost. No one who has touched a life, who has brought beauty to the world is ever truly gone. She touched so many lives with warmth, courage and caring and her beauty is present through her children. The love she shared lives on.

May 24, 2005

Dear Sertich Family-

I'm Tami, Trevor Frischmon's sister from the CC Hockey Team. I'm so happy that I had the opportunity to meet your wonderful wife and mom and especially remember talking with and hugging her when CC won in Michigan! My 2 older kids, Brady and McKenzie wanted to let your family know that they were praying for you as well. They are 2 of CC's biggest fans and think that the Sertich Brothers are just as cool as their Uncle Trevor!

My family's thoughts and prayers are with you. Remember that God takes the best ones early! Cherish the memories with her and keep them alive!
